In a heartwarming gesture, renowned Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted fellow musician Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, better known as Mayorkun, a Tesla Cybertruck. The announcement was made via Davido's Instagram Story, where he shared a photo of the sleek electric vehicle alongside a touching message for his former signee.

"My gift to you. I love you #iammayorkun," Davido captioned the image, instructing an associate to ensure the vehicle is delivered the following day. While the exact cost of the gift remains undisclosed, the Tesla Cybertruck is known for its futuristic stainless steel design and retails in the United States for between $69,990 and $99,990, depending on the specifications.

In Nigeria, however, the luxury vehicle's price can soar significantly higher due to import duties and shipping costs. Estimates suggest that brand-new units could range between N200 million and N340 million.

Mayorkun, who joined Davido Music Worldwide in 2016, has since launched a successful solo career, maintaining a close friendship with Davido. The two artists have consistently expressed mutual respect and support for each other throughout their careers.
