Speaking at the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja, Adeleke, who recently joined the APC, pledged to mobilize support for Tinubu’s return to Aso Rock. “I can feel the victory coming in 2027. Nobody can stop this movement. I’m ready to lead this movement,” he declared.
Known for his lively dance moves at public events, Adeleke promised a celebratory campaign. “We’re going to sing, we’re going to dance all the way back to Aso Rock,” he vowed, emphasizing the joyful spirit he aims to bring to the campaign.
Adeleke also called for patience and understanding regarding Tinubu's policies, acknowledging the challenges the president faces. “We must give our father, the President of this nation, time to work for his reforms to take effect. It’s not easy,” he stated.
Determined to prioritize action over rhetoric, the governor said, “That is why I am here to throw my weight behind this campaign. We want action, not too much talking. Work has begun; I’ve already started mine.”
He urged Tinubu's supporters nationwide to intensify their efforts to secure the president's second term, stressing that it would allow him to complete his ambitious programs. “From every corner, let us rise and make sure our president comes back for a second term so he can complete his good work,” he said.
Adeleke's enthusiastic endorsement signals a united front within the APC as the party gears up for the 2027 elections. The governor's commitment to Tinubu's campaign aims to energize voters and galvanize support across Nigeria.
As the election approaches, Adeleke’s vibrant approach may play a crucial role in rallying grassroots support for Tinubu, framing the campaign as both a political necessity and a festive movement.
With Adeleke at the helm, the APC is poised to harness enthusiasm and drive toward a successful electoral outcome.
