The empowerment event took place at Omidokun Hall in Ayetoro, gathering hairdressers, fashion designers, and elderly women who received cash to support their livelihoods. Fagbote emphasized that her initiative was inspired by her commitment to Adeola's vision and the need for active citizen empowerment.
"Yayi has made significant contributions to our community, bringing development and touching lives even before his potential governorship," Fagbote stated, underscoring Adeola's track record of impactful interventions in Yewa North.
Fagbote called on the newly inaugurated Ayoka Women for Yayi group to intensify their grassroots mobilization efforts, highlighting Adeola's achievements as a senator and his future plans for Ogun State. She expressed her belief that empowering women is essential for community development, as it directly benefits families.
Representing Adeola's wife, Temitope Adeola, Olori Adebisi Olaotan spoke out against political attacks on Yayi's character, asserting his identity as an indigene of Ilaro in Yewa South Local Government Area. She dismissed rumors regarding his origin from Ekiti State and attributed the opposition's anxiety to Adeola's solid track record.
Beneficiary Mrs. Rafiu Fausat expressed gratitude for the empowerment, stating it would strengthen her business operations. She urged the people of Ogun State to unite and support Adeola in the upcoming election, reinforcing the message of community collaboration.
