Speaking at the second edition of the RHI's financial support presentation held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Shaibu described the initiative as a powerful expression of national solidarity with those who have lost loved ones in service to the country.
“The care for families left behind by our fallen personnel is not just a humanitarian act; it is a national obligation,” he emphasized.
Governor of the event, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, alongside senior military leaders, attended the ceremony, which highlighted the importance of supporting these families as a way to honor their sacrifices.
Shaibu noted that ongoing support for these families not only pays tribute to the fallen but also boosts the morale of active service members. “Such initiatives reinforce the commitment and fighting spirit of our troops,” he added.
