This overwhelming response has been highlighted by his close friend and fellow actor, Yinka Quadri.
Quadri took to Instagram to express gratitude for the immense support from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers, acknowledging the challenge of sifting through the numerous offers while Ogogo continues his treatment in the hospital.
"We've received heartfelt suggestions from more than 300, possibly over 500 individuals, each believing they can help," Quadri stated.
The real challenge is deciding where to take him and how to manage his ongoing hospital care."
He emphasized that the family's inability to relocate Ogogo should not be seen as a rejection of the goodwill, urging continued prayers as they navigate their options. "We appreciate every offer, but we humbly ask for your prayers for Ogogo," he added.
The situation has escalated as the family seeks specialized treatment for the beloved actor. Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya recently revealed that Ogogo had been moved to the operating theatre following efforts to secure expert medical attention.
Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Ogun West, has also reached out to cancer specialists to assist with Ogogo's treatment. Adesanya expressed hope for a successful procedure and recovery, thanking the public for their ongoing support.
Ogogo's daughters have shared that they only recently learned of their father's illness, which affects his abdomen. Kira, one of his daughters, mentioned that some medical facilities could no longer continue his chemotherapy, prompting the family to seek alternative options.
Meanwhile, Lima, another daughter, noted that Senator Adeola has pledged continued financial support for her father's medical expenses, although Ogogo is not fit to travel abroad for treatment.
Many of Ogogo's colleagues, including Femi Adebayo and Bimbo Oshin, have rallied to support him, joining in calls for prayers and medical assistance.
Quadri remarked on the profound love and concern shown by people around the world, stating, "We are deeply touched by the overwhelming support for Ogogo."
As the family navigates this challenging time, they remain hopeful and grateful for the outpouring of affection from fans and peers alike.
