President Tinubu Calls for Swift Action Against Kaduna Attackers

In the wake of a brutal attack in Kaduna State that claimed the lives of approximately 30 individuals, President Bola Tinubu has urged security agencies to intensify their efforts in apprehending the perpetrators. The assault occurred early Monday morning in Naridon Village, located in the Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area, and resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians, including women and children.

President Tinubu condemned the attack, labeling it an "unprovoked act of terrorism" directed at defenseless citizens. The incident not only resulted in loss of life but also involved the destruction of homes in the community.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed his outrage over the incident, emphasizing his administration's commitment to maintaining peace and security in Kaduna State, which has seen improvements in stability in recent times. “Those who seek to disrupt this peace will face justice,” he declared.

The President extended his condolences to the bereaved families and to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, reaffirming the federal government's support during this tragic period. "We stand firmly with the government and the people of Kaduna State as we navigate this hour of grief," he stated.

To address the security challenges in the region, President Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to escalate their operations. He emphasized the importance of restoring normalcy and ensuring the safety of the community.

“Our administration is unwavering in its commitment to enhancing security infrastructure, equipping response personnel, and dismantling criminal networks that threaten our nation’s peace,” he added.
