Owolabi Ajasa Breaks Silence, Debunks Viral Death Rumour

‎Veteran Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa has debunked widespread rumours of his death, assuring fans that he is alive, healthy and in good spirits.
‎The actor, renowned for his memorable police roles in Yoruba films and his popular catchphrase, "Ta lo pa chief?", reacted after a fake obituary poster circulated widely on social media.
‎In a video shared on his Instagram page, Ajasa dismissed the claims, describing the reports as false and misleading.
‎Addressing his supporters in Nigeria and across the world, the actor said there was no cause for concern about his health.
‎"I am still alive, hale and hearty. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me," he said.
‎Ajasa also condemned those responsible for spreading the false information, expressing disappointment over the circulation of the fake obituary.
‎He prayed against those behind the rumour, saying the evil intended for him would return to its source.
‎The actor thanked fans who reached out to verify the reports and reassured them that he remains active and in good condition.
‎The incident has once again highlighted the growing challenge of misinformation on social media, where false reports about the health or death of public figures often spread rapidly before being verified.
‎Ajasa's clarification has since brought relief to many of his fans and colleagues, who had expressed concern after the fake obituary surfaced online.
