She gave the assurance on Tuesday while receiving a delegation from the World Bank, led by its Country Director for Nigeria, Dr. Matthew Verghis, at the State House in Abuja.
During the meeting, which centred on strengthening collaboration on Early Childhood Development initiatives, the First Lady reaffirmed the administration's commitment to policies aimed at improving the well-being of Nigerian children.
According to her, President Tinubu places high priority on school feeding and remains committed to ensuring the programme becomes firmly established before the expiration of his tenure.
Oluremi Tinubu noted that the government has continued to adopt a multi-sectoral approach to development through interventions in education, healthcare, nutrition, environmental sanitation and other key sectors.
She also emphasised the importance of investing in children from an early age, describing early childhood development as critical to building a healthier, more productive future generation.
The First Lady further pledged to sustain collaboration with the wives of state governors in implementing programmes that promote the welfare and development of children across the country.
Earlier, Verghis reaffirmed the World Bank's commitment to supporting Nigeria's human capital development agenda, describing the country as one of the institution's most strategic global partners.
He stressed that investments in children, particularly from pregnancy through the first five years of life, are essential to improving education outcomes, reducing healthcare costs and breaking the cycle of poverty.
The World Bank official also called for stronger partnerships to advance early childhood development, adding that Nigeria's progress remains crucial to achieving the institution's broader development objectives.
He disclosed that the bank's current five-year partnership framework for Nigeria prioritises programmes in nutrition, education, sanitation and other sectors that directly impact child development.
