Femi Adebayo’s Estranged Wife Sets the Record Straight: No Actress Behind My Marriage Split!

Omotayo Sanusi, known as Iya Aladuke, has publicly refuted allegations implicating Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham in the collapse of her marriage to actor Femi Adebayo. In a detailed statement shared on Instagram, she addressed these rumors, emphasizing their falsehood.

Sanusi clarified that she chose to remain silent on the matter until the persistent rumors began to be presented as facts. “I have deliberately chosen not to publicly respond to the many false stories surrounding my marriage. However, I must address these allegations,” she wrote.

The claims suggested that Toyin Abraham had informed Sanusi about another actress's involvement with Adebayo during a film shoot, prompting a confrontation. Sanusi dismissed these allegations as entirely fabricated, stating, “No such incident ever took place.”

Throughout the referenced production, Sanusi was actively involved, overseeing the welfare of over 500 cast and crew members, which she believes supports her denial of the accusations. “I find it difficult to understand how such an incident could have allegedly occurred without a single witness,” she stated.

She further challenged anyone claiming to have been assaulted or harassed by her to come forward with evidence. “If anyone genuinely claims to have been attacked by me—directly or indirectly—they should come forward,” she affirmed.

Sanusi expressed frustration at the hypocrisy surrounding the narrative. “It’s acceptable to spread lies, but it’s not acceptable to debunk them?” she questioned, calling for an end to the circulation of false narratives.

The recent uproar was sparked by a TikTok blogger who claimed Sanusi confronted Akindele during the filming of *Jagun Jagun Part 2*. This led to further speculation about rifts in the industry and personal relationships.

In response to follower inquiries, Sanusi also denied making any allegations against Akindele related to prior controversies. She urged her audience not to accept rumors as fact without proof.
