BREAKING: Aseyin Of Iseyin Joins His Ancestors Barely 4 Months After Alaafin of Oyo

Oba Abdulganiyu Salawudeen, has joined his ancestors.

Oba Salawudeen joined his ancestors 3 Months and two days after the departure of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi,the Alaafin of Oyo on  Friday,22nd of April,2022. at Afe  Babalola Teaching  Hospital,Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State.

Aged 62,Oba Salawudeen ascended the throne in 2007 and ruled  for successful 15 years before his demise on 24th of July,2022.

The  late Aseyin was University of Ibadan trained veterinary doctor, and was said to have died at the University College Hospital,(UCH) Ibadan where he was said to have been admitted for medical treatment.

First Awareness gathered that,his remains has been moved to Iseyin where  traditionalists will perform  passage rites before his interment in the ancient town.

First Awareness also reports that,Oyo State this year, (2022)  had witnessed demise of many important Royal fathers  such as,Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Soun of Ogbomoso; Oba Saliu Adetunji, Olubadan of Ibadan and 'Iku Baba Yeye', the Alaafin of Oyo,Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
