Lack Of Fear Of God, Bane Of Nigeria's Insecurity - Odetola

A minister of God in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Power of Change, Bode-Olude, Abeokuta, Banji Odetola has identified lack of fear of God as the major  problems confronting Nigeria as a nation.

Odetola said the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom hence, a nation that have fear of God would be freed of insecurity challenges and corruption confronting Nigeria.

He said when a nation fear God she would love God, hate evil and all things that associated with evil such as insecurity, corruption and fake promises to citizens.

According to him,lack of fear of God has led government at all levels and individuals to embark on corruption,fake promises, kidnapping and engaging in rituals for money making.

Quoting from the book of Proverbs chapter one from verse 4,"the fear of God is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom"Odetola urged Nigerian leaders as well  Citizens to fear God and observe all His Commandments  to move the nation forward and better lots of the masses.

Giving more reasons biblically why people must fear God, Odetola said that, "we must fear God because of His greatness, for providing sound health,for forgiveness of sins, for unbiased judgements and for the opportunities bestowed on human beings to be masters over all other creatures among all others ".

The minister of God as well gave benefits people stand to gain from the fear of God saying,when you fear God,He revealed some secrets  about the Nation's, people and about plans of enemies against you and your family.

When people fear God,the Creator is capable of blessing and giving people the opportunity of living long (longevity) using the book of Deuteronomy chapter 6verse 2 to illustrate his preaching.

Meanwhile,Pastor in charge of the Church,Olasunkanmi Adejobi, rounded up Odetola sermon when he was about to pray, calling the congregation to pray for Nigeria leaders for God to touch their hearts and lead them alright.
