Shocking:Two Suspected Ritualists Caught With Human Head Set Ablaze in Ogun,

Two Suspected Ritualists were on Saturday set ablaze by irate youths after they were caught with fresh human head in a border Community,  Oja-Odan,  Yewa North local government area of Ogun State.

First Awareness gathered that, the suspects,who were identified as Idowu Afolabi and Johnson Adebiyi, had earlier been arrested and detained at Oja Odan Police station, before some youths were said to have forcefully broken into the police cell to drag out the suspected ritualists.

According to an eyewitness, who identified himself as Adeyemi, the youths, who were in their hundreds, dragged the suspects to an open space in front of the police station and set them on fire.

He said, “The youths caught the two men with a fresh human head. The police came to take the suspects away. But about an hour later, the youths, said the killers must be dealt with immediately. That was why they mobilized themselves in their hundreds to the police station in town,Oja Odan".

“The youths forced themselves into the police cell, dragged the suspects to an open space in front of the police station and set them on fire,” the source said.

Cases of ritual killings are becoming rampant in the state in recent time.

It would be recalled that earlier on same day,Saturday February  ,12,2022,a couple  identified as Kehinde Oladimeji and his wife Adejumoke were arrested with fresh human parts at Leme area of Abeokuta, the state capital.

This is coming barely two weeks after three young boys were arrested for cutting off the head of a girl named as Rofiat for money ritual in Adatan areas of Abeokuta.
