Independence Anniversary : Eminent Club Appeals To FG, States And LGs To Embark On More Developmental Projects

Members of Eminent Club of Oke-Ogun,Saki,Oyo State arising from their monthly meeting on Saturday wished  Nigerians  happy celebration of the Independent day,just as they called on government at all levels to embark on more developmental projects to better the lot of Nigerians. 

The Eminent Club also appealed to the Federal government to intensify more efforts at putting an end to the security challenges confronting the county.

They as well, called on the Oyo State government to focus more developmental projects to Oke -Ogun  which they said among the divisions in the State is still lagging behind .

They appealed to Governor Makinde's led administration to  repair  some areas calling for attention on the only existing  major road linking Oke Ogun and Ibadan the State capital.

In his opening remarks ,the President of the  Club, Dr Segun Ojebode wished  members of Eminent Club,the Okere of Saki,Oba Khalid Olabisi,the people of Oke Ogun, Oyo State and Nigerians in general happy celebration of Independent day, praying to God to grant the Nation all the needed  peace  and unity.

At the age of 61st, Ojebode said that Nigeria is expected to have developed far better than her present status and thus, appealed to the Government at all levels to put more efforts and executive projects that would bring rapid developments for the betterment of all.

Ojebode as well called on all  distance  members of  Eminent culb to show more commitments to the Club affaires by paying their dues regularly and as at when due.  

Mr President also appealed to distance members to ensure that they also perticipate in all other Club engagements saying ,they should bear in mind that home is the lasting  place of rest.
 
The Financial Secretary of the Club, Comrade Dayo Adeola was directed to forward all financial commitments of members who are not living in Saki and it's environments to them so as to keep them abreast of their debts.

Meanwhile,the meeting was well attended by all members living in Saki and it's environs
