__Visits Lagos Traditional Rulers

A team of former members of the National Assembly and notable grassroots politicians tagged (SWAGA)who have been clamoring for BolaTinubu to contest for President in 2023 general elections,have taken their case to traditional rulers in Badagry division of Lagos State
Senator Dayo Adeyeye, who led SWAGA’23 urged the traditional rulers to prevail on their son, Tinubu, to contest 2023 presidential election
He described Asiwaju Ahamed Bola Tinubu as a capable and credible person who can better the lot of Nigerians and move the country forward in all areas.
This step,First Awareness was made to know that apart from wider consultations, it was one of the group's strategies to persuade well meaning Nigerians to key into the agenda of making the former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu as a candidate and also be voted for as President in 2923 general elections in the country.
In his speech, the Onijanikin of Ijanikin kingdom, Oba Momodu Afolabi assured that traditional rulers in Lagos would try their best as partners in progress to see Nigeria producing a credible and competent person to mount this exalted position come 2023.
“We the league of traditional rulers would also be involved financially if need be.
“Lagos Obas are ready to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in this direction,” he said.
In attendance were about 15 traditional rulers among whom were Oba Dr Momodu Afolabi, the Onijanikin of Ijanikin,Oba Nofiu Dada Elete of Ete Kingdom,Oba Abideen Adekanbi Osolu of Irewe Kingdom, Oba Monbadenle Oyekan Onilado of Ilodo and Oba Caleb Adeniyi Olojo of Ojo.
Others were, Oba Dr N A Akinyemi, Alabirun of Ikare Kingdom,Oba Dr Taofik Adegboyega Alahun of Imore Apapa,Oba Gausu Rasak Ovaria of Ibeshe,Oba kasumu Kosoko Elekunpa of Ekunpa Kingdom,Oba Musiliu Adio Yussuf Onisiwo of Traquair Bay,Oba Olayinka Lateef Alado of Ado Kingdom and Oba Dr Adesina Asade Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdom.
Also present were,Oba Sherif Adesina Bello Onigbanko Of Igbako Kingdom,Oba Dr Joshaih Ilemobade Aina The Oloto of Oto Kingdom.
