Oyo State: Makinde's New Commissioners Emerge Soon

 All things been equal ,names of new set of Commissioners in Oyo State will soon emerge as the State Governor, Seyi Makinde forwarded fresh name to the House of Assembly.

 First Awareness gathered that,names of preferred candidates for the exhausted positions have been fully compiled and forwarded to the House of Assembly for clearances.

 Someof the old Commissioners who are expected to be returned according to the list included Commissioners for Commerce, Adeniyi Adebisi, Information, Culture and Tourism, Wasiu Olatunbosun, Youth and Sports, Fakorede, and the former Commissioner for Lands and Urban Planning, Abdurahman Abduraheem

 It was also gathered that,former Commissioner for Education, Olasunkanmi Olaleye, made the new list.

 It could  be recalled that Governor Makinde appointed the former Commissioners on August 14, 2019 and sacked them in July this year with seven of them reappointed on August 6.

 Information gathered also revealed that the Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Economic Matters, Prof. Musibau Adetunji, was nominated as Commissioner for Budget and Planning, while the Incident Manager of the State’s COVID-19 Emergency Operations Centre, Dr.Taiwo Ladipo, was nominated as the Commissioner for Health. 

 First Awareness recalled that Governor Makinde had on August 6, after returning seven former commissioners, indicated that new cabinet would soon be fully inaugurated.
