In an interview with Channels Television during the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, Lawal reiterated the stance of APC governors regarding Wike’s cross-party political platform. “Our message is very clear: Be on one side. You can’t support APC here and other political parties elsewhere,” he said.
Lawal's comments are part of a broader discussion surrounding Wike’s Rainbow Coalition, which aims to mobilize support for Tinubu while maintaining the independence of political party candidates in state elections.
